Senior Azure Administrator
Job Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, and other infrastructure components.
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Azure resources.
- Implement security best practices and compliance policies for Azure resources.
- Provision and scale Azure resources based on business requirements.
- Optimize resource allocation and usage to minimize costs while maximizing performance.
- Implement and maintain security controls, identity and access management, and data encryption in Azure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Set up and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery services.
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure data resilience.
- Create and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages) for managing Azure resources.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Monitor Azure services and resources using tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Security Center.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and other teams to support cloud-based applications.
- Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.
