Valve Repair Technician (Mechanical Static)

Responsibilities & Context

Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Bashundhara Group, is looking for some competent candidates for the position of "Valve Repair Technician- Maintenance" for its Bitumen Plant in Keranigonj.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, Nonreturn valves, etc.

Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at BOGCL locations.

Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.

Communicate timely updates to management, Co-workers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.

Works closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OHSMS and other safety regulations.

Prepares required work permit(s) and liaises with operations to release equipment.

Inspects equipment to determine extent of repairs required. Prepares requisition for spares and materials and withdraws from local store or arrange delivery from main stores.

Tests to ensure operability and reports activities to supervisor/engineer.
