Sales Administrator

Company Overview

CEG is a leading pressure equipment and fabrication software provider to several industries, including energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, food/beverage, and construction. We offer our customers CAE software tools for designing, maintaining, and analyzing pressure equipment, welder certification and management, and expediting fabrication processes for many enterprise-level companies. CEG is a conglomeration of three business units: Computer Engineering, Inc. (CEI), Paulin Research Group (PRG), and Finglow.

Role Description

The Sales Admin will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales operations through a diverse range of administrative responsibilities. This includes maintaining the integrity of customer data in CRM applications, researching and managing documentation for customer vendor and tax registrations, and collaborating closely with various teams within CEG – including support, sales, engineering, R&D, marketing, and management – to assist customers in achieving their sales and office objectives, as outlined by the Sales Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Sales Admin's key responsibilities include:

1. CRM Management: Ensure current and accurate account information is maintained within the CRM system.

2. Revops Duties: Handle tasks such as posting payments, maintaining bank reconciliations, and completing invoices/past dues.

3. Vendor Requirements: Research and document customer vendor requirements, as well as maintain registrations.

4. LMS Subscriptions: Manage and maintain customer Learning Management System (LMS) subscriptions and named-user registrations.

5. Account Management Support: Assist Account Managers in maintaining accurate contact data for customer accounts.

6. Software Support: Prepare support cases for software updates and provide assistance with cases as needed.

7. Customer Communication: Engage in effective communication with customers, addressing their needs and inquiries related to the above duties.

8. Meeting Coordination: Coordinate and schedule virtual meetings for the sales team, including the preparation of necessary documentation.

9. Team Collaboration: Attend daily or weekly team meetings as required, fostering effective collaboration and communication.

10. General Office Duties: Undertake other general office and administrative duties as needed, ensuring accurate storage of documents and data backup.

Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience

- Education: A bachelor's degree in business or sales and or relevant experience is preferred.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Team Player: Possess a team-player attitude with drive, discipline, and positive energy.

- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, etc.); prior experience with Salesforce or Hubspot is desired but not mandatory.

- Autonomy: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Detail-oriented: Display keen attention to detail, organizational efficiency, and the ability to coordinate workloads to meet deadlines.
