In-Charge Piping Fabrication

Responsibilities:

• Plans, schedules, coordinates, and supervises daily activities for Pipe fabrication/workload and field installation jobs.
• Sets priorities and schedules resources for field work and creates work order for each job.
• Reviews BOM (Bill of Materials) for each job and ensures parts are ordered by materials dept.
• Coordinates field work with project managers and customer/plant representatives
• Monitors schedule, quality, cost of project and responsible for the results of the team
• Utilizes extensive technical knowledge to assist team with fabrication and installation issues
• Ensures that the technicians have the appropriate technical training and qualifications
• Demonstrates support and compliance with all safety procedures and requirement

Skills:

• Minimum experience of 8 to 10 years with Pipe fabrication, assembly, construction.
• Ability to read and understand piping drawings, specifications, and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform computer functions such as email communication, word, Excel, Project, etc.
