Intern - Marketing - Office of Advancement

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and communications team in all stages of marketing campaigns

This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to office operations
• Organize office and assist marketing team in ways that optimize the procedures
• Liaise and facilitate schools and offices in their specific content and communication requirements
• Coordinate and manage all academic visits at LUMS
• Coordinate and manage internal events with schools and offices and engage and manage print and electronic media as and when required
• Maintain and update relevant databases for local and international marketing plan e.g. universities/schools/agencies/media etc. ensuring accuracy and validity of information
• Ensure adherence to any other tasks and deadlines as assigned by the Supervisor/ HOD

Skills: 

• Ability to impressively communicate in both English and Urdu
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and application of Arithmetic formulas in MS-Excel
• Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
