Job Overview:

We're looking for a Shopify Web designer to visually stunning and user-friendly e-commerce websites tailored to division's specifications and optimized for sales success.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts using Shopify's themes, templates, and customization options

Tailoring Shopify themes to match the branding, style, and requirements of the division' business. This may involve modifying colors, fonts, layouts, and other design elements.

Ensuring that the Shopify website is responsive and optimized for viewing on various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

Setting up and configuring e-commerce functionalities such as product pages, shopping carts, checkout processes, payment gateways, and shipping options.

Installing and configuring Shopify apps and plugins to enhance website functionality and meet specific business needs, such as marketing, analytics, or customer support.

Implementing basic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve the visibility and ranking of the Shopify website on search engine results pages (SERPs).

Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Stay updated on Shopify features and e-commerce design trends.

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge and experience using the Shopify platform, including its themes, templates, and customization options.

Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for customizing Shopify themes, modifying layout and design elements, and ensuring responsive web design.

Basic proficiency in JavaScript for implementing interactive features, customizing user interfaces, and integrating third-party scripts and plugins.

Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch for creating and editing images, graphics, and other visual assets for the website.

nowledge of basic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve the visibility and ranking of Shopify websites on search engine results pages (SERPs).

Familiarity with web development tools and technologies, including code editors, version control systems (e.g., Git), and debugging tools for troubleshooting.

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and techniques for ensuring consistent website performance across different web browsers and devices.

Knowledge of UX design principles and techniques for creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and optimizing the overall user experience on Shopify websites.

Good communication skills.
