Head of Content Writing

Roles & Responsibilities:

Content Strategy Development:

Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and success metrics for content initiatives.

Team Leadership:

Lead and inspire a team of writers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify opportunities for professional development.

Content Creation Oversight:

Oversee the end-to-end content creation process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content.

Review and edit content to maintain consistency, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Editorial Calendar Management:

Develop and manage editorial calendars to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.

Coordinate with various teams to align content schedules with broader marketing and business initiatives.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

Work closely with marketing, SEO, design, and other teams to integrate content seamlessly into broader campaigns.

Collaborate on cross-functional projects to leverage content for maximum impact.

Stay Abreast of Industry Trends:

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategies.

Implement SEO best practices and ensure content remains optimized for search engines.

Brand Storytelling:

Act as the custodian of the brand’s storytelling, ensuring content aligns with the organization’s values and resonates with the target audience.

Adaptability and Innovation:

Stay adaptable to evolving market dynamics and adjust content strategies accordingly.

Encourage and support innovative approaches to content creation within the team.

Communication Skills:

Effectively communicate content strategies, objectives, and performance metrics to leadership and other stakeholders.
