Technical Support Intern

Responsibilities

Requirements :

  • Graduate or Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent.
  • Must be comfortable using Linux command line.
  • Good understanding about Web, DNS, Email and MySQL server.
  • Ability to successfully turn a conversation with a potential customer into a sale.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and goal-oriented.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle customer resistance and deal with criticism.
  • Effective time management.
  • Must be able to work in shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to phone, email and live support panel for support and sales requests.
  • Follow up on customer issues via Help desk and provide the necessary support.
  • Responsible for systems administration for the group, including networks, applications, and operating systems.
  • This includes implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and usage monitoring.
  • Responsible to perform audits of servers which includes usage, performance, and backups.
  • Responsible for administering and maintaining the systems/servers to support business operations and end-users.
