Agro Chemist- BACIL

Responsibilities & Context

Bashundhara Agro Chemical Industries Limited (BACIL) is looking for a highly motivated, Proactive, energetic and experienced Agro Chemist to join our team. He will be responsible for conducting research, analysis, and development activities related to agricultural chemicals and processes.

test new nanomaterials and nanotechnologies for improving the quality and efficiency of fertilizers and other agricultural products.

Design and synthesize new nanomaterials and nanotechnologies for fertilizer applications

Conduct laboratory and field experiments to evaluate the performance and safety of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in agriculture

Analyze and interpret data using statistical and computational methods

Prepare and present scientific reports and publications·

Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, and stakeholders in multidisciplinary projects

Follow ethical and regulatory standards for nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in agriculture

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations

Any other task assigned by the management

Education

Bachelor/Honors

Experience

At least 2 years

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Chemical Industries

Additional Requirements

Age 24 to 30 years

Must have Knowledge of the principles and applications of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in fertilizer production and use

Must have Experience in using analytical and characterization techniques for nanomaterials and nanotechnologies, such as spectroscopy, microscopy, chromatography, etc.

Must have Proficiency in using statistical and computational software for data analysis and modeling, such as MATLAB, R, Python, SPSS, Excel etc.

Proficiency in various analytical techniques and methodologies used in agricultural research.

Ability to work independently or in team, creatively and take initiative.

Good communication and interpersonal skills
