Responsibilities & Context
1. Job location: Shiddeshwari or Dhaka City
Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts
Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patient's arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties, answering patients' questions, and maintaining the reception area.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
Processing billing and payments, using software
Comforting distressed patients - this may range from simply fixing any appointment issues that may arise, to being the voice of comfort during times of extreme stress and emergency.
Process transactions to the cash register by effectively and efficiently handling cash, credit card and mobile wallet payments
Coordinating with other departments within the hospital to ensure that patients are able to receive the care they need
Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
