Head of Design & Development - Architect
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, review and ensure implementation of architectural design and development;
- Monitor and continue to improve service delivery function as a team leader for the Design & Development Department;
- Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to architectural and engineering projects, including interior design, reviewing drafts and computer models, and approving design changes.
- Prepare and present design proposals in accordance with the prescribed deadlines,
- Explain relevant details and goals in clear mentioning the targeted end time.
- Feasibility study of the project and Analysis of Topography of the site.
- Conceptual development for architectural design and appropriate Structural system.
- Space Requirement through Ergonomics.
- Contextual understanding and sustainability consideration
- Accountable for Preliminary Design Preparation (with value Engineering)
- Approval of preliminary Design and accountable for Producing detailed design, drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate the design process with planning department, compliance, production, structural, electrical, plumbing, construction department.
- Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design and engineering work as necessary to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Accountable for Authority Approval of Drawings
- Execute Work Supervision (Periodic) with Project Schedule.
- To do interior design and execution.
- Accountable for all projects BOQ, Work order & processing for bill.
- Liaison with members of the external design team and other associated with organizations or companies
