Assistant Technical Specialist (Architect), Shelter, HCMP
Job Responsibilities
- Developing design and architectural plans as per the needs pledged by the Donors
- Regular Field Visit for identifying the sites having need for further fabrication, modification
- Maintaining proper file management for further and future reference
- Time to time represent BRAC in field coordination forums for the HCMP, ISCG (Inter Sector Coordination Group), and liaise with national and local authorities, INGOs and other Sectors.
- Need assessment of different structure on the basis of beneficiaries / users demand and need.
- Develop advanced visualization and analysis to communicate with different stakeholders
- Ensure quality of work and output for best services to the FDMN and host community.
- Ensure the safety of colleagues, volunteers and beneficiaries from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- BRAC’s values and mission, development sector, global development scenario to identify funding trends, financial and grants management, donor agencies, basic computer knowledge on MS office applications.
- Budgeting, communication, researching, writing, monitoring and evaluating, auditing, project management, project implementation
- Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders
