Assistant Engineer - ETP

Responsibilities & Context

To address and execute all environmental issues DoE/ZDHC/HIGG /EMS/ of the factory.

Monitoring energy, water and waste management systems.

Execute & ensure the smooth operational system/process for the ETP plant.

Monitoring and supervising all process control parameters such as BOD, COD etc.

To ensure the function ability of the ETP.

Implementing company safety rules, regulations and standard operating procedures for EMS and OHSAS.

Identifying workplace hazards & conducting risk assessment and job safety analysis of all areas, functions & services.

Ensuring local SDS, GHG label and secondary containment.

Training employees on EMS and Health & Safety.

Ensuring safe chemical handling & ensuring proper waste segregation and management.

Education

Diploma in Chemical Engineering .

BSC in Chemical Engineering/ Environmental Science / Chemistry.

Masters in Environmental Science will add advantage.

Experience

At least 4 years

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Textile, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

Age at least 24 years

The applicant must have at least 04 years’ experience in ETP, Biological, Chemical and RO Plant operations.

Strong technical skill and trouble shooting expertise required.

Should have computer literacy.

Ability to solve problems and present solutions.

Ability to prioritize for deadlines.

Self-driven to work under pressure (pro-active attitude).

Good communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills.

Positive work ethics and result oriented mindset for assigned responsibilities.

Should be a good team player and target-oriented.
