Store In-Charge (Sr. Executive/ Asst. Manager)

Job Responsibilities:

Collect indents from the departments for their requirements and process the order;

Follow-up the procurement and delivery of the materials, consumables & disposables to the hospital store and ensure that the Store Keeper maintains record and put the materials in appropriate storage/ locations;

Follow-up and ensure that all procurement and deliveries are recorded properly (soft & hard copy);

To ensure adequate minimum stock of items are maintained at all times and to ensure that minimum stock level of items to be defined;

Ensure that the materials/ goods have been delivered to the relevant departments timely in reference to the requisition/ demand;

Reject the sub-standard/ noncompliant materials/ goods with “REJECTED”/ “NOT ACCEPTED” seal with remarks for the rejection;

To ensure that stock is correctly rotated to allow a first in first out system to operate (strictly follow the expiry dates of the materials);

To ensure all stores, working areas including the material receiving area are maintained in a clean and orderly condition at all times;

To ensure the materials storing compliance with the Health and Fire Safety Policy of the Hospital;

Develop an effective inventory/ materials management plan;

Prepare statement for each department in regular interval regarding the quality of the material and uses;

Attend monthly/ weekly meetings with the medical and administrative staffs;

Liaising between the Hospital Accounts, Supply Chain/ Procurement Department of M & J Head office.
