Embedded / Sr. Embedded Engineer

Responsibilities & Context

Design, develop, and optimize real-time operating system (RTOS) kernels for embedded systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.

Implement and maintain device drivers, communication protocols, and hardware abstraction layers.

Debug and troubleshoot complex embedded systems, ensuring efficient and reliable performance.

Conduct code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in RTOS technology and embedded systems.

Conduct knowledge sessions on Electronics, Microcontrollers and RTOS systems.Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Experience

1 to 5 years

Additional Requirements

Proven experience in RTOS kernel development for embedded systems.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C and assembly for embedded applications.

Strong understanding of real-time constraints and the ability to optimize code for performance.

Experience with debugging tools and circuit design and simulation tools.

Knowledge of communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C) and protocol stack development.

Familiarity with hardware design and microcontroller architectures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. (Programming contest background would be a plus)
