Job Responsibilities

The Technical Specialist - Communication and Documentation will be responsible for developing and rolling out the framework for communication, and knowledge management in coordination with the technical team for the project. S/he will need to demonstrate technical and practical knowledge on documentation, knowledge management and will be responsible for providing technical support to the implementing partner to capture learnings from the field. S/he will also support the process of capturing evidence led by MEAL and develop different lesson learnt materials and reports based on the project interventions. This position will be involved in providing technical and operational support including development, publication and dissemination of project briefs, programme updates, research reports, and other materials as per the programme need and will manage communication with SCI ACCM (Advocacy, Campaign, Communication and Media) to ensure social media platform visibility as focal from project including content design. The incumbent will also develop/adopt IEC/BCC materials as relevant for project activities in coordination with technical team and will take steps to visualize KOICA funded project activities through different channel of communications while working closely with government bodies, other development partners and civil society organizations (CSOs). The incumbent will also be responsible for managing the inventory of the soft and hard copies of published documents and other materials like paper clippings, photographs, CD, VCD, and DVD of the program. S/he will visit project implementation sites as required.
