Shift In Charge (Power Generation & Distribution)
Job Responsibilities
- Operate power plant as a shift in charge.
- Responsible for operation of generator, transformer, EGB, DM plant, switch gear, battery backup system, sub-station equipment etc.
- Troubleshooting and ensuring uninterrupted power generation and distribution.
- Checking & ensuring log information on shift log book / log sheet / check-up list & other records and correcting any abnormalities found in shift.
- Develop, review and revise the system to keep update with latest technology.
- Maintain and ensure the schedule of maintenance.
- Communicate with local utility (Electricity, Gas) service provider.
- Maintain close contact with reporting superior time to time even after office hour over telephone / online, if required.
- Act proactively on emergency situations like: earthquake, fire / accidents, incident etc. as per management guidelines.
- Any others task assigned by higher authority.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 6 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Report to operation in charge.
- Must have willingness to do shifting duty.
- Experience in Jenbacher and Caterpillar gas & diesel generator (operation & maintenance section), 33kV and above sub-station operation will get preference.
- Should have fundamental knowledge about wiring diagram, P&I diagram, operation manual of machine and instrument.
- Strong capability to make the system healthy quickly.
