System Administrator

Responsibilities & Context

Administer and manage a VMware-based environment, overseeing VM creation, resource management, Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), High Availability (HA), Cluster administration, and performance tuning.

Deploy and administer Load Balancer solutions, including Web Application Firewall (WAF), ensuring efficient traffic distribution and heightened security.

Oversee the management and administration of Linux-based environments, with a focus on xfs and ext4 File System management.

Ensure the security and stability of the Linux infrastructure

Configure and manage a central backup solution, encompassing scheduling, retention policy maintenance, and implementation of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) measures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of IT systems.

Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Education

Additional Requirements

Age 25 to 30 years

Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Proficiency in managing storage systems.

Proven experience in managing VMware-based environments
