Delphi Developer

The Division

Ideal Computer Systems (a division of Constellation HomeBuilder group) is a leading dealership software provider for Outdoor Power Equipment, Powersports, Marine, RV, Agriculture, Trailer and Golf Car dealerships from the last 30 years.

The Position

The division requires a Delphi developer to supplement Ideal development team to enhance the core system and build out integrations and add-on modules. Hired candidates will be located and work out of the Contour Software Lahore office, working as part of the resource-centre, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

The hired candidate is required to work on new Delphi modules as well as add enhancements/maintenance on existing modules:

Produce estimates and designs

Prototype technologies & designs for appropriateness and Quality of Service (QoS), e.g. performance, scalability, availability, security, etc.

Lead implementation and unit testing of designs

Report status

Technical Documentation as needed

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or a certificate from a technical training institute

Fresh grads are welcome to apply but experience in Delphi enterprise software development (Client/Server database applications) is preferred

SQL, XML, HTML, Web Services

Experience with Firebird and/or InterBase relational database and SQL stored procedures

Experience with Git version control system

Knowledge of estimation, design, and unit testing methodologies

Knowledge of defect management and related systems (SLX preferred)

Reliable with great attention to detail, deadlines and time management

Skilled at code analysis and troubleshooting code

Experience on PowerBuilder and PHP can also be considered

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
