HR Intern

The Position

Contour Software is looking for an energetic HR/business/commerce graduate, to join the team as an HR Intern. The selected individual shall contribute to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture, promoting excellence, integrity and work-life balance.

Reporting to the HRBPs/HR Manager, and interacting closely with HR Team members, this individual shall help administer HR services for one office, while also serving in a backup capacity for any requirements of other office locations, as and when required. The successful candidates will be working in the domains of Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement, assisting in the seamless recruitment of resources and the execution of employee engagement events. Although this is a trainee role, there is a possibility that, depending on performance and organizational needs, we may extend full-time positions to HR interns who demonstrate exceptional capabilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Collaborate with HRBPs, Service Line and hiring Managers to understand the needs of the roles to be filled.

Identify and work on the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting technical and non-technical candidates.

Determine selection criteria based on the job requisitions received.

Identify appropriate candidates and assess their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.

Maintain and timely update recruitment status and notes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Plan and execute employee engagement activities and work with various stakeholders to achieve the desired results.

Research and work with different vendors (corporate gifts, printing, sound, decoration, and other event management vendors) and internal departments to build engagement plans proactively.

Attend job fairs and industry conferences; run company booth at job fairs and maintain & strengthen the Contours brand as an Employer of Choice.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Confidence and influencing ability, including the ability to address groups of people.

Basic understanding of technical roles and technical skills.

Some understanding of recruiting methods and best practices.

Attention to detail with an ability to work under pressure.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors in any discipline, preferably HR or Marketing.

Fresh candidate or 6 months of experience in the HR.
