Junior SQA Analyst

Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of .NET products to identify and report defects, ensuring the overall quality of the software.

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.

Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Conduct both functional and non-functional testing, including regression testing, system integration testing, and performance testing.

Utilize automation testing frameworks such as Specflow (C#) to develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI testing.

Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

Track and manage defects using tools such as Jira and Zephyr, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, validate fixes, and ensure the successful delivery of software releases.

Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the testing process.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in manual testing of .NET products, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and report defects effectively.

Proficiency in writing automated tests using Specflow (C#) for API testing and Cypress for UI testing.

Knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.

Familiarity with JIRA and Zephyr for test case management and defect tracking.

Proficient in using Git/Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.

Solid understanding of SQL and ability to write basic database queries.

ISTQB certification or equivalent would be an advantage.

Preferred Knowledge:

While not mandatory, the following skills and knowledge are preferred for this role:

Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and release management.

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and related testing approaches.

Qualifications and Attributes:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.

0-2 years of experience, preferably in a similar domain or industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
