Lead SQA Automation Analyst

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the management, reporting, and tracking of test phases.

Accountable for the creation and execution of manual/automated test suites covering system, assembly, integration, regression and NFR testing.

Input and creation of test strategies and plans to support customer projects and product software deliveries.

Oversee design and execution of test scripts that provide testing coverage of new and modified functionality along with regression testing within the software development lifecycle.

Managing the daily workload of Testers and giving direction on projects

Working with the offshore delivery team

Mentoring and training internal team members

Defect management and reporting – Communicating defect issues to PMO and back to the client upon request.

Point of contact for the Client in relation to testing activity.

Communicating all test issues effectively and executing procedures to arrive at the suitable fix

Support client acceptance testing defect management and release processes

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline.

8+ years of experience performing both manual and automated software testing.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience with Test Management tools (VSTS, Client Quality Centre, etc.)

Strong understanding of different testing techniques and approaches.

Must possess strong communication, collaboration, and team management skills with a proven ability to integrate out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving to improve processes, systems, methodologies, documentation, etc.

Strong automation experience with backend tools & technologies.

Development or scripting skills in Python, PyTest, and Allure Reporting.

Strong time management skills with a history of meeting commitments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must have formal documentation creation skills.

Demonstrable experience in managing/leading the QA element of software development projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

Desirable:

Testing of Web and development applications.

Experience of Test Analysis, Test Design, Execution and Defect Management.

ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Testing.

Knowledge of Automation Frameworks and experience with Angular, SQL, JAVA, Enterprise Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, .NET, and C#.
