The Position:

Contour Software requires a Salesforce developer, to join the team at our Karachi/Lahore office, to work as part of one of our divisions' R&D departments. This is a long-term career opportunity, working as part of the Jonas Construction Software team in the role of a Salesforce Software Developer. The incumbent would be working on software development, integration and deployment work focused on the Salesforce development platform.

You are someone who will be working in the shape and form of a salesforce consultant. You are able to take a set of requirements, ask the right questions, explore different avenues of approach to the problem, create a written scope to show you understand, and then execute on a project. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who will be an active participant in the work we do.

Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities of this position are development-focused, along with any administrative tasks not being managed by personnel at the Jonas office in Canada. There is also a requirement to understand the different APIs which our salesforce org has integrated, and helping manage updates and issues around those tools including Conga Collaborate,

Administrative tasks include workflow rules, field updates, email notifications, auto-tasks, email templates, new fields, internal salesforce issues/requests/questions, communicating with salesforce support for open tickets, maintaining Org security, managing users, profiles, roles, and sharing.

Core Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience

1-5 years' professional software development experience

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Work closely with the rest of the staff and management

Has a very good understanding of how to create and manage small and large projects

Essential Skills:

1 - 5 years of application development experience with the Salesforce and force.com platform, including

Clear communicator verbal & written

Able to understand and clarify issues

Writing detailed working scope

Apex and Visualforce

Able to write Bulkify triggers

Apex unit test creation

Salesforce sites

Salesforce integrations via API with outside data sources

Application architecture

Security and Permissions

Usage of JavaScript libraries like jQuery in Visualforce

Email services

Salesforce Mobile

Salesforce reporting and analytics

Salesforce continuous integration and code management skills

Salesforce application packaging and deployment (Deployment via Packages and change sets)

Basic concepts of Salesforce lightning

Familiarity with data migration tools.

Other helpful experience:

HTML5 development

MVC .NET development for API's

SQL Server, SSIS & SSRS exposure and experience

Agile development familiarity
