SQA Analyst

The Position:

We are looking to hire a SQA Analyst professional with expertise primarily in manual testing. The hired individual will work as an extension of the R&D team to help ensure the high-quality and timely delivery.

The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Job Qualifications:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.

2-5 years of testing experience with customer-facing enterprise applications.

At least 1 year of hands-on experience with API testing.

Experience with relational databases, querying, and troubleshooting would be an asset.

Attentive to details, has a responsible attitude to the tasks assigned, fast learner.

Good practical knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience in testing client-server web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.

Excellent organizational skills – have the ability for timely decision-making, problem-solving, and execution of a number of complex tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (English).

Demonstrate a willingness for technical learning: researching new QA techniques; self-development of technical knowledge and skills to do with the job.

Maintains composure and a positive attitude, can handle stress, and doesn't show frustration when resisted or blocked.

Job Responsibilities:

Understanding requirements and creating test documentation.

Perform functional, application, regression, and performance tests in a timely manner.

Communication with product developers and Product Owners regarding product issues and quick resolution.
