UIUX Designer

The Position:

As a UI/UX Designer at CampSite, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing visually digital assets that align with our software product modernization initiatives. Your creative ability will be essential in enhancing the overall user experience in the CampSite product.

The selected candidate will be working out of the Contour Software Karachi office, as an extension of the R&D team located in the United States.

Responsibilities:

Study design briefs and conceptualize visuals based on the provided requirements.

Prepare rough drafts and present ideas in multiple options. Illustrate concepts with focus on layout, style, size, and relevant aesthetic consideration.

Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.

Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.

Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.

Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.

Collaborating with the product manager, and development team to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.

Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior.

Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.

Skills & Experience Required:

Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.

3+ years proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.

Creative ideas with problem solving mindset.

Basic HTML and CSS to put together mock interfaces for developers to implement.

Proficient in using graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, wireframing/prototyping tools such as Balsamiq or Sketch, and UX design tools such as Figma, Axure, or InVision.

Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams based in different geographical areas.

Time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the quality of work.
