NOC Operator

Responsibilities

We are looking for a “NOC Operator”. Ideal candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with 1-2 years of relevant experience of working in high scalability, basic knowledge of Linux, Networking Protocols, scripting (shell/bash).   

NOC Operators Key Responsibilities

·         Provide 1st and 2nd line support

·         Hands on experience with System and Server Support (Redhat, Debian, Centos)

• Should have basic understanding of Mac systems.
• Linux expertise (Linux CLI, bash/shell scripting)
• Basic Knowledge of Databases ( MySQL, Mongodb, Cassandra )
• Understanding of Webservers Apache, Nginx, HAproxy

·         Troubleshooting APIs, Load Balancers, SSL certificates, DNS and other enterprise technologies

• Understanding of and exposure to VoIP (SIP)
• Familiar with security concerns (server hardening, two-factor authentication, SSL, VPN)
• Possesses ability to work in an agile environment
• Hands on experience on various monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Cacti and Syslog)
• Able to provide resolution to client queries/probes in timely and affective manner

·         Perform 24x7 advanced tier troubleshooting, including off-hour maintenance activities, problem resolution, and on-call troubleshooting efforts during outages.

·         Update, manage & own technical and process documentation using various tools

·         Experience in Running 24x7 NOC.
