Trainee QA Engineer

RIKSOF is an award-winning mobile and web app development company with its headquarters in Karachi. We are currently on the lookout for highly motivated Trainee QA Engineers. In this role, you should be able to work in a challenging environment with seniors. You should have excellent personal, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on high visibility and technically complex projects.

Prepare test data.

Write acceptance criteria under supervision.

Verify unit, functional, API and UI test cases under supervision.

Verify data models under supervision.

Assist in code reviews.

Write unit, functional, API and UI test cases.

Take responsibility for tasks assigned and provide regular updates to the team as per required protocols.

Manage personal work logs.

Manage task reports.

Technical Skills

Good understanding of testing methodologies.

Document the acceptance criteria.

Record test progress and results.

Discover bugs within software.

Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.

Follow the test plan developed senior team members.

Able to perform Regression and Performance Testing.

Strong communication/reporting skills.

Desired Languages: Javascript or Typescript
