Academic Lead
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops and implements Opportunities in all subject curriculum.
- Conducting workshops for teachers.
- Manages and administers all academic issues in the region.
- Monitors and observes teachers for curriculum implementation.
- To keep up to date with national developments in the subject area and teaching practice and methodology.
- To actively monitor and respond to curriculum development and initiatives at national, regional and local levels.
- Foster an awareness of opportunities to use and consolidate throughout the whole school curriculum.
- To offer support and guidance to other members of staff in the teaching.
- Keep staff informed of current developments in the curriculum.
- Identify staff training needs and match to appropriate INSET provision.
