Market Facilitator- On Farm

Responsibilities & Context

Prepare market linkage plan and support to SHG’s product market promotion.

Organize different meeting, training and different event ACMC.

Support on value chain, marketing system.

Facilitate on value addition, supply chain and market linkage.

Facilitate linkages between traders/markets and beneficiaries and link producers to new market opportunities.

Capacity building of beneficiaries in relation to increase production and supply to meet up demand of market.

Establish and maintain a list of local enterprises in the targeted group of businesses.

Assist Market Linkage Officer for timely planning & implementation of marketing activities.

Assist the SHGs in value addition of their produces for better marketing and profit.

Develop community collection centres and connect all for selling the product on a regular basis.

Provide support on product processing, grading, storage and packaging for getting a higher market price.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual progress report based on the plan.

Preserve the production mapping and sales database at GIGA/IIGA/SHG level.

Assist to identifies market solutions to gaps, such as quality, quantities, packaging or transport and actual potential orders that are likely to lead producers to conduct more profitable transactions.

Capacity building of SHG groups/beneficiary in relation to ensure desired quality and quantity of their products.

Attend different meeting, training, workshop and other event activities.

Experience Requirements

At least 2 year(s)

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

NGO

Educational Requirements

Bachelor degree in any discipline

Additional Requirements

Age at least 25 years

At least two years of NGO working experience in National or International programmes especially in Cox's Bazar District on development programme implementation at field level. Practicing gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.
