Database Administrator

Job Responsibilities

• To install, configure, and continuously optimize Oracle, MSSql and MySQL database instances.
• To perform day-to-day management, patching, maintenance, and backup of all databases.
• To provide 24/7 troubleshooting and support on a demand basis.
• To ensure systems remain secure and are continuously running effectively and meet SLA requirements.
• To participate in upgrades and configuration modifications on the production systems.
• To develop scripts and create reports for database health monitoring and usage metrics analysis.
• To define, document, and deploy configuration management, disaster recovery, and other key operations processes.
• To drive a total automation philosophy to efficiently and effectively achieve high level of reliability, availability, scalability, security, and performance.
• To identify and raise to management, database vulnerabilities threat could be exploited by an attacker.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed University.

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
