Environment Officer, Toggi Green Ship Breaking & Recycling Ltd., Chattogram
Job Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental management systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conducting environmental monitoring, including air, noise, soil, water quality monitoring, waste management, and so on.
- Developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures, including waste management plans, pollution prevention programs.
- Monthly monitoring and reporting on environmental performance, conditions.
- Provide training to the workers on environmental issues, health & safety issues and best practices.
- Investigating and addressing environmental complaints, violations, and incidents.
- Managing and monitoring major environmental impacts.
- Participating in emergency response activities, such as spills and other environmental incidents
- Communicating regularly with management and employees, providing environmental performance and compliance updates.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Health Safety and Environment - The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Shipyard
Additional Requirements
- Age 23 to 35 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Excellent communication skills in English.
