Fire Safety Officer
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all kind of health & safety issue within the law & company policy.
- Ensure all equipment is serviced and checked in accordance with current legislation.
- Ensure fire safety signage is current and correct as per policy.
- Ensure staff are aware of fire policy and how to respond in the event of a fire.
- Conduct fire drills in accordance with practice policy.
- Manage HR functions including office time, leave management, Grievance Management and disciplinary functions effectively.
- Ensure the Training and Development Programmed is appropriate to retain staff and to enhance their knowledge and skills and health and safety programs.
- support the HR, Compliance & Welfare team in adopting best HR Practice across the Organization.
- Ensure updating all relevant Registers as required by local law and customers Code of conduct.
- Follow up & monitor floor monitoring sheet with taking feedback from respective personnel. If required than give instruction for smooth rectification.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 40 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Administration, Fire safety Management, Health/ Safety & Fire
- 6 months training on fire & safety from any recognized institute will be given preference.
- Priority for those who were involved with woven factories.
- Excellent communication skill.
- Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labour Law 2006, Labour rule 2015 & Labour Gazzate-2018.
- Sound knowledge on Accord/Alliance.
