The Job

In this role, you will be overseeing mobile application development efforts while continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximise development efficiency.

You will be responsible for :

Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Helping maintain code quality, organization and automation.

Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualise, build, test and realise products

Staying updated with the latest industry trends in mobile technologies

Understanding the market and participate in product roadmap discussions

The Profile

You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

You have at least 5 years of experience in developing mobile apps using Android SDK with proficiency in Java/Kotlin

You possess a strong knowledge of Core Java with good knowledge of Kotlin with solid OOD principles and design patterns

You have prior experience in Jetpack components, RxJava and Dagger2

You have expertise with storyboards, auto layout and classes for UI designing

A strong understanding of memory management, multithreaded programming and background processing is required.

You have solid CS fundamentals with competencies in algorithms and data structures

You have experience with SaaS platforms for mobile development such as Analytics, Push Notifications, Cloud Storage, Ad Networks, etc

Knowledge of Android’s debugging, unit-testing, memory and performance optimisation tools as well as experience of automated and manual testing platforms is mandatory

You are excellent at dealing with ambiguity and able to prioritise and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
