Project Coordinator - Administration ( Project Management ) )

Global Engineering Services is a pioneer in providing System Design, PCB Layout, FPGA Design, CAM, and ASIC Design services in Pakistan since 2000. We are the most experienced service provider in the “Design to Proto” domain in Pakistan. Global Engineering Services is an offshore office for Whizz Systems Inc., headquartered in Silicon Valley, USA. We are inviting applicants for the position of Project Coordinator for immediate hiring.

Responsibilities:

As an integral member of the project management the team responsible for delivering projects of varying size and complexity, provide direction and support to the project team to adhere to all quality standards during the project and also responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, budgets and preliminary schedules

·         Track the progress and quality of work being performed

·         Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team

·         Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner

·         Get a quote from a supplier based on file provided by the customer

·         Negotiate with the vendor to meet the customer targeted price

·         Follow-up and make sure the ship date is given by FAB house does not exceed the timeline, and follow up to check if any delay.

·         Follow-up with the customer on Material issues, to get it resolved

·         Input into the production of a weekly and monthly Service Delivery WIP Reporting: progress against monthly delivery targets, delivery schedule of all orders in progress, problem orders, etc.

·         Receive and maintain the ship log reports of projects

·         To provide quarterly detailed inventory reports to customers and make sure that the report of customer tally with the report of PM Dept.

·         Follow up with US Office to update the sheet with new projects with required info

Job Requirements:

·         Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills

·         Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills including attention to detail

·         Relationship building and negotiations capabilities

·         Proficient in MS Project and the MS Office Suite of products
