The Market Research Manager is responsible for selecting the appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet a defined business objective. Depending upon the selected methods, the Research Manager develops or assists in the development of the research instrument.

Job Description

Interface between Market Research and Business Managers to synthesize internal database information.

Coaching and developing junior staff to acquire/improve their primary skills

Mentoring team members

Contributing to the management of company-wide initiatives

Clearly defines research objectives and key questions. Designs research projects using common qualitative and quantitative marketing research methods, and applies essential research design principles (pretesting, upfront analysis planning, and creating rational and achievable project plans)

Thoroughly defines problems, and structures/recommends analytical paths or research approaches to solve them leveraging internal or external data.

Exhibit analytical and MR techniques knowledge and use in MR studies.

Display commitment to high quality, cost effective and timely research.

Coordinate with Business Managers to design and evaluate marketing campaigns.

Develop and execute customer opinion studies and quantitative and qualitative market research studies.

Create various reports and findings to disseminate accurate market information to audiences on time.

Handle primary and secondary market research and gather, analyze and disseminate information.

Demonstrates ownership of the brand and credible business sense. Uses this business knowledge and strategic thinking ability to help direct the interpretation, use, and implications of consumer, marketplace, competitive and environmental information to improve business decisions and knowledge base for future strategic planning.

Job Requirements

A minimum of 5 years within the custom Market Research industry

Exceptional written and oral communication abilities

Strong analytical skills

Experience using google sheets

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint,

Bachelors or advanced degree in business
