Key Responsibilities:
Research & Data Collection:
Scour various sources, databases, and tools to gather information on potential leads, industries, and market segments, based on the ideal client profile.
Connect with and embrace industry associations and events to gather information.
Research top competitors to maintain up-to-date and accurate competitive analysis
Prospect Qualification & Reach-out:
Evaluating and categorizing leads based on specific criteria such as size, industry, location, buying potential, and alignment with the company's product or service.
Working closely with sales and marketing teams to understand their needs, refine prospect profiles, and adjust research methods accordingly.
Work with the Sales team and Marketing & Communications Specialist to develop contact strategy.
Execute on strategy including calls and direct emails to assigned prospect categories.
Database Management & Reporting:
Updating and maintaining our Salesforce CRM with accurate and recent data about prospects. Removing outdated entries and ensuring the overall quality of data.
Creating regular reports on prospecting activities and providing insights to sales and marketing teams.
Employ various digital platforms and tools effectively, such as LinkedIn, industry-specific databases, RFP marketplaces, and other research platforms.
Assist in Salesforce data-hygiene tasks and improvements.
Other Responsibilities:
Contribute to marketing strategy sessions and execution of the marketing calendar.
Execute other marketing tactics as needed to meet our lead and sales goals.

Have excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
Knowledge and experience in using marketing and content creation tools (email marketing, CRM, LinkedIn, Salesforce etc)

On-time execution of quarterly agreed deadlines for the marketing calendar.
Ensure each contact and prospect category receives the agreed level of reach-out.
Improve the deliverability of emails to prospects from X to Y and for customers from Y to Z.
Ensure that we see 100% of all deals and opportunities within the Zoo and Aquarium markets.
75% of prospects in CRM A+B lists to have a database score of 9+
Conduct 1 x discovery call per week.
Respond to 100% of web enquiries within 8 business hours.
