Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Statistician Officer communicates the results of his/her analysis in the form of comprehensive predefined and on demand reports to the decision makers. To design reports different types of analysis skills, analysis methods and analysis tools are used. To make these analysis reports more presentable using infographics, statistics, graphs, tables, lists and GIS maps.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. National Statistics Officer will be responsible for analyzing the data and designing ways of collecting data

2. Quality checking and cleansing data

3. Interpreting statistical analysis for policy development, evaluation/monitoring, forecasting, National Statistics

4. Developing statistical tools for future data collection

Essential Requirements

• A specialized higher University Degree preferably Master’s (Equivalent to 16 Years of education) in statistics or economics with major in econometrics, with at least 5 years of progressive experience in relative healthcare project in reputable organization.

• Command and demonstrated skills in inferential and descriptive statistics is a must.

• S/he must be proficient and demonstrate use of Statistical Software such as SPSS, STATA, MINITAB, R etc.

• Must have demonstrated skills of mapping software’s like ArcGIS, QGIS etc.

• Must be proficient skills in Microsoft Office.

• Candidate must have team management, multi-tasking, time management, ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and stress tolerance skills.

• The ability to communicate verbal and writing details reports. Fluency in English required Urdu and other Pakistani languages preferred.
