Water Cluster Officer (Female), SAFAL for IWRM Project

To lead the overall process of watershed assessment and identification of feasible micro watersheds for restoration/rejuvenation in the assigned Upazilas according to watershed selection guidelines.

To lead the collectivization process of farmers of catchment areas of selected micro watersheds and formation of Local Water Users Groups (LWUG) and Watershed Committees ensuring women and youth representation according to the process defined in the guideline.

Age at most 45 years

At least 3 years of practical experience in the development sector.

Educational qualification may be compromised in the case of highly experienced candidates in the relevant field.

Strong decisions making ability and motivational skills especially in rural communities.

Skill in computer literacy.

Reporting and documentation skills.

Effective communication skills.

Strong leadership, analytical and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in remote areas.

Proven ability to work in an intercultural environment.

Willingness to travel extensively across the country.

Willing to drive a motorcycle with a valid driving license.
