Water Supply - Technician (Generator)

Job Context

The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective implementation of WASH interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the WASH Services.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure the generator functionality of all water network.

Assist inregular operation & maintenance of all water supply units.

Generator line connection to VFD.

Make ensure maximum production through generatoras desired by the management.

Keeping record of daily work & performance of the solar system.

Assist project team by ensuring proper WASH services in designated area.

Ensure effective implementation of the WASH services following the work plan through necessary guidance by the supervisor.

Assist to prepare drawing, design and overall supervision of different WASH infrastructures for construction, upgradation and rehabilitation as well as collaborative work with logistic/ procurement.

Technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of WASH infrastructure before construction/installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.

Assist to plan the activities according to the project document.

Educational Requirements

SSC / HSC with background on mechanical skilled. Educational requirement can be relaxed for experienced candidate.Relevant working experience may also apply.

Experience Requirements

3 to 5 year(s)

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

NGO, Development Agency

Additional Requirements

Age 25 to 45 years

Both males and females are allowed to apply

Working experience with NGO, Development Agency in WASH response.

Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.

Work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.

Professional work experience on different generator supported project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting.

Professional work experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring,operation and reporting.

Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox's Bazaar)

Medium in English (written/verbal)
