Responsibilities & Context

The Cost Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining standard costs and its ongoing analysis. This role will be a key member of the accounting team in providing costing support and in other accounting areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist to develop standard costing for all products of organization, conduct variance analysis by scrutinizing all of the associated expenses of production including materials, overhead and other operational expenses of factory.

Assist to develop strategies for the bottlenecks of cost accounting and analyze and update the cost data and information for present and future needs of the organization.

Collect data for analyzing historical and periodical data, product cost variances of different segments of occurring expenses, such as: overhead, raw material/packing materials, etc. to control required production costs and prepare a variance report to facilitate accurate decision making information.

Identify the costing of all new product lines of KFG and ensure profit maximization by considering all related factors.

Ensure archive and preservation of all kinds of documentations related to product costing, factory/office expenditures, cost-benefit analysis, raw materials, packing materials, etc. within specific time frame.

Check and follow up monthly profitability analysis report for Feeds, Hatchery, KFIL, KML etc. in ERP software for all operations and business unit of Kazi Farms by also analyzing and summarizing relevant data and need to ensure accuracy and timeliness
