Head Chef - Labaid Cafeteria
Job Responsibilities
- We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen's activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.
- The Head Chef develops and implements menus and recipes for all aspects of the department.
- Manages purchasing, inventory, and food cost for the department.
- Manages trains, and monitors productions staff and any other staff as assigned.
- The Head Chef prepares food for catering, cafeteria and patients as needed.
- Assures food meets quality standards.
- Plans, organizes and supervises the preparation of food for the various needs of the departments.
- The Head Chef demonstrates proficiency in the operation of all equipment used in the kitchen.
- Assures the timely preparation delivery of food.
- Approve and "polish" dishes before they reach the customer
- Arrange for repairs when necessary
- Remedy any problems or defects
- Oversee the work of subordinates
- Estimate staff's workload and compensations
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
- A team player with a positive attitude
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Age at most 45 years
- At least 10(ten) years working experience as a Head Chef in renowned organization.
- Must have working experience in renowned organization from abroad.
- Proven experience as Head Chef in any renowned organization
- Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
- Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
- Computer literacy and online communication ability.
- Credentials in health and safety training
- English language & Bangla must
