Manager/ Asst. Manager - Commercial

Job Responsibilities

Responsible to complete all activities regarding import goods.

Communicate with foreign exporter /supplier effectively regarding different commercial issue.

Manage the importation of goods from other countries by arranging in time BTB LC and ensure items are shipped by the most expedient and cost-effective methods.

Clearing and forwarding of all imports and shipments.

Supervise and follow up with bank and insurance matters.

To follow the import process, ordering, collect quotation, transferring LC

To deal with foreign customers / suppliers, shipping agents

To follow the shipment outward / inward, customs clearance, etc.

To follow the documentation & audit for customs and other legal authorities, license renewals etc.

The candidate must have the capability to prepare commercial documents

Handle all logistics for importing goods.

Handling C&F, freight forwarder, shipping agent & other related vendor for import works.

Keep record and submit report of all L/C information.

Proper documentation for internal accounts.

Educational Requirements

BBA/ MBA from reputed university.

Experience Requirements

5 to 7 year(s)

The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

Commercial, Logistic, Export/ Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/ C&F

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Garments Accessories

Additional Requirements

Age 30 to 35 years

Only males are allowed to apply

5-7 year(s) experience in commercial/ import activities.

The applicant should have experienced in the in the following area(s): Shipping, Booking, Export/import through L/C

Computer skills in MS-Office, MS Excel, Windows OS. PDF, e-mail and internet browsing.

Self - motivated, confident, proactive and target oriented.

Have sound Knowledge of International and Local laws regarding Import/ Export to & from Bangladesh.

Practical & Adequate knowledge in export documents related with Bank, C&F, EPB, Customs, Shipping Line and Freight forwarders, Import through L/C& T/T etc.

Adequate Knowledge about H.S. Code, L/C Clauses, PSI, Customs and bonded warehouse matter , Custom Audit, Bill of Lading and other shipping documents, Certificate of Origin and undertaking, Bond License, Vessel Schedule, Invoice, Packing list, UP, UD, GSP, EXP, BGMEA, NBR & other delegates etc.

Must be updated on the latest Customs and International Trade Laws is essential to be proficient in this position.

Knowledge about handle of Port and Customs Operation effectively.
