Responsibilities & Context
As the Principal, you will be responsible for demonstrating excellent leadership skills to guide academic and non-academic staff towards achieving organizational goals. You will ensure a conflict-free and discrimination-free working environment while fostering a quality teaching and learning environment within the institute. This includes ensuring the availability of teaching-learning materials and digital content for all subjects, as well as providing guidance and counselling to students and parents. Additionally, you will be expected to possess a strong understanding of research papers and publications.
Provide overall leadership and oversight to ensure effective communication and coordination within the institution.
Supervise to ensure 100% clinical practice through extensive networking and communication.
Implement the institutional strategic development plan to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Supervise the admission registration process and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Administer the Nursing College and supervise the teaching program, ensuring compliance with council and college regulations.
Ensure proper implementation of the nursing council’s curriculum, syllabus, ordinances, rules, and regulations in both academic and administrative activities.
Facilitate the renewal of accreditation for all courses administered by SIMT, as well as the accreditation process for newly introduced courses.
Manage, supervise and monitor academic and non-academic staff in accordance with the service rules and regulations of the organization.
Adhere to the rules and regulations stipulated by Dhaka University to maintain institutional compliance.
Facilitate semester-wise pedagogical training for teachers, including subject-specific training and oversight of lab management and development.
Work towards achieving 100% job placement for students through effective career guidance and placement initiatives.
Coordinate and manage institutional co-curricular activities to enrich the student experience.
Oversee the training and development initiatives for new recruits, ensuring that they are conducted under the guidance of their immediate supervisors.
Manage the recruitment and training processes for both academic and non-academic personnel, and conduct performance appraisals in collaboration with the Human Resources department.
Assist the Human Resources department in crafting comprehensive job descriptions outlining the responsibilities and duties for both academic and non-academic staff members.
Organize seminars, symposiums, and workshops to promote academic discourse and professional development.
Engage in strategic promotional activities to enhance the institution's visibility and reputation.
Ensure high quality teaching learning environment Maintain regular communication with Dhaka University authorities to foster collaboration and adherence to university standards.
perform public relation duties and assist in forming international linkages and global networks.
Organize governing body meetings.
