Contract length: Up to December 31, 2019 with possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.

Job Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of Site Supervisor and technical guidance from Deputy Manager-Nutrition, the Nutrition Officer will be responsible for the day to day management of the blanket and targeted supplementary feeding program in different settlements. The Officer will work closely with the team to ensure the successful implementation of the project. S/he will be responsible for facilitating quality of data and validating its rigour at project sites through regular monitoring at centre and beneficiaries HHs. The Nutrition Officer will work closely with WFP and the FSL team to ensure the successful implementation of the project. S/he is also responsible for documentation, analysis and reporting of all the information of the program.

Educational Requirements

Master degree in Nutrition and Food Science/Public Health discipline will be preferred

Additional Requirements

Good teamwork and management skills

Demonstrated ability to live and work in a multi-cultural environment

Computer skills, including statistical software packages

Excellent report writing abilities

1-2 years of experience in Blanket supplementary feeding program or CMAM
