Sr. Officer - BSFP/TSFP, Rohingya Response

Contract length: Up to December 31, 2019 with possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.

Job Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of Deputy Manager-Nutrition, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day management of the blanket and targeted supplementary feeding program in different settlements. The Officer will work closely with the team to ensure the successful implementation of the project. S/he will be responsible for facilitating quality of data and validating its rigor at project sites through regular monitoring at centre and beneficiaries HHs. The Site Supervisor will work closely with WFP and the FSL team to ensure the successful implementation of the project ensuring proper outreach and distribution plan. S/he is also responsible for documentation, analysis and reporting of all the information of the program.

Educational Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably Master's in Nutrition/MPH;

Experience Requirements

At least 2 year(s)

Additional Requirements

2 years of experience in nutrition programming;

A good understanding of health, hygiene and nutrition issues within the target community;

Ability to work within a tight timeframe;

Excellent interpersonal skill and able to work in a multicultural team;

Motivated and prepared to work in the field areas in challenging conditions;

Ability to communicate with the Rohingya population;

Passionate about improving the lives of children;

To protect children in connection;

Non-discriminatory and gender sensitive.
