Delivery Solution Architect

Job Description:

As a GCP Professional Services Architect, you will

Work directly with strategic customers on projects to help them transform their businesses.

Provide consultative services by leveraging your technical capabilities, in an agile operating model, to help DXC

customers solve their Google Cloud business needs.

Lead customer engagements and work with client executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions via

Google Cloud.

Work closely with other GCP teams within DXC to manage engagement programs, provide consulting

advisory/consulting services, technical guidance and best practice expertise.

To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience working with cloud technologies, and a diverse

background in cloud solutions covering cloud migration, IaaS and PaaS development, big data and analytics. As a

Professional Services Architect, you will serve as the technical lead for customer workshops, use case demonstrations,

develop proof-of-concept (POC) and deliver small project services in a variety of areas including, but not limited to,

infrastructure migration, developing customer solutions such as web applications, networking, enterprise applications,

security, IAM, batch processing and big data, disaster recovery, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS level technical degree required; Master's in computer science (or similar technical background) preferred

Prior experience in architecting, developing and/or maintaining solutions in the Google Cloud Platform.

Prior experience in an account management, client service and/or management consulting role.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; the ability to think strategically about business and technical

challenges

In-depth technical and analytical, possessing 8 or more years of IT infra implementation experience

Deep hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale

Experience reading/writing software code in one or more language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, node.js, etc.

Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required

Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years experience leading cloud transformation projects with a top consulting or Professional Services group

Ability to work with DXC partners, system integrators and 3rd-party developers to deliver effective customer

solutions

Ability to work in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team with a continuously evolving delivery

framework.

Strong track record of implementing GCP (or other cloud) services in a variety of distributed computing

environments

Prior experience partnering with customers to manage and deliver successful migrations to public cloud solutions

Integration of GCP cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead effectively across various teams

Experience in using industry leading tools and technologies for cloud management (monitoring, patching, backup,

log file management, end point protection, IDS, IPS etc)

Experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow

Experience in Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc)

Experience in planning and implementing Disaster Recovery on Cloud

Experience in migrating workloads from on-premise to GCP cloud using leading tools and technologies.
