Project Manager

Job Description

Manage Hosting (Server commission, decommission, migration, consolidation, application integration, DR recovery and planning and deployment) projects within the United States and internationally (global).

Plans, directs, and co-ordinates the teams activities to manage and implement project and/or interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage.

Manage tasks assigned to architecture, solutions engineering, solution certification, deployment, managed service vendors, regional operations and implementation resources

Manage projects simple to complex in nature, interacting directly with Customer, Governance, Vendors and the DXC Teams & Leadership for projects that range in duration from 2 months to 1 years

Develop implementation cadences and t-minus schedules

Determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk.

Leads the project team in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans.

Working Knowledge of MSP schedule is mandatory.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (peers, managers, engineers, account leaders and project managers including good, active listening skills.

Proactively create governance level reporting for the Customer Governance team (high-level milestones)
