Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lahore. As a Manager - Linux & VOIP Engineer, you will be overseeing and managing the Linux and VOIP teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and resolving technical issues that may arise. You will be designing and implementing Linux and VOIP system architecture, as well as providing recommendations to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.

At least upto 8 years of relevant experience in managing and leading Linux and VOIP teams.

Expertise in Linux and VOIP systems with a deep understanding of networking protocols, configuration management, and system optimization

Experience in managing large-scale deployments using automation and orchestration tools.

Experience with VoIP/SIP protocols and integrations with PSTN.

Experience with CUCM, Cisco Unity, and Cisco Expressway.

Strong team management, organizational, and leadership skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and result-oriented approach.

Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Write asterisk dial plans: Configure and manage call routing strategies for efficient call handling and distribution.

Install and Configure Asterisk: Set up and configure the Asterisk VoIP system on Linux servers.

Maintain System Stability: Monitor and troubleshoot issues to ensure the smooth functioning of the VoIP system.
