ASSISTANT ENGINEER (MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE)

Job Specifications:

Education: BE (Mechanical)

Experience: At least 1-3 years of relevant experience

Job Requirements:

Must have hands-on experience of the maintenance of mechanical equipment like gear boxes, Pumps, Over head cranes, Cooling towers, compressors, Hydraulic machinery etc.

Able to work in Shifts to handle Preventive, Corrective and Predictive maintenance to ensure maximum availbilty of plant for Production.

In case of a breakdown, the incumbent is required to develop the Failure Analysis Report and submit the same to his superior for relevant action.

Preperation and compilation of documents like Shift report, History cards, Check lists, Down time Analysis report.

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P & IDs , Hydraulic schematics etc.

Have basic knowledge of spare planning and able to modify spares as per requirement.

Ensure adherence to all pertinent Safety Rules and Regulations and ensure understanding of the same by the junior staff.
