Curriculum Developer

The purpose of the job is to design, develop, and evaluate the curriculum of Islamiyat and tarbiyah for Darul Madinah Islamic Education School (DMIES), including books, syllabi, lesson plans, resources, and materials for campuses around the world.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direct supervision of the Line Manager, the incumbent will perform the following duties:

Research and analyze the needs and preferences of the students, teachers, and parents of Darul Madinah Islamic Education School (DMIES)in the areas of Islamiyat and tarbiyah.

Develop and write the curriculum objectives, content, and outcomes for Islamiyat and tarbiyah for each grade level and subject area.

Create and revise the books, syllabi, lesson plans, resources, and materials for Islamiyat and tarbiyah according to the curriculum standards and guidelines.

Evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of the curriculum and the materials using various methods, such as feedback, surveys, tests, and observations.

Coordinate and consult with the subject matter experts, the teachers, the principals, and the parents regarding the development and implementation of the curriculum and the materials.

Ensure the compliance of the curriculum and the materials with the regulatory and ethical standards of the countries where Darul Madinah Islamic Education School (DMIES)operates.

Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field of Islamic education and curriculum development.

Prepare and present reports and proposals on the curriculum development activities and achievements to the senior management and the stakeholders of Darul Madinah Islamic Education School (DMIES).

Ability to make video lectures, etc.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

BS in Education (Islamic Studies) or a related field (MS in Education preferred) + Dars-e-Nizami.

Exposure of the principles and practices of research and development in the education sector

Exposure of the Islamic education curriculum and standards

Exposure of the global education market and trends

3-5 years of relevant experience in educational leadership, curriculum development and assessment

Advanced-level English Language Certification
